Several recent research analyses looking at multiple studies support that there is a link between what one eats and our risk of depression, specifically. What it boils down to is that what we eat matters for every aspect of our health, but especially our mental health. In counseling my patients about self-care, I always feel like we don’t have enough time to get into diet. Self-care includes things like sleep, physical activity, and diet, and is just as important as meds and therapy - sometimes more so. Treatment options include medications, therapy, and self-care.
Either of these could save you some national focus and some political power.Just this week, I have seen three patients with depression requiring treatment. You get full control when you annex DEI or Continue the War in Batavia and they convert to your ownership so they refill properly and you can retemplate them. They will build the divisions on their own and they will be expeditionary forces early on as long as DEI stays at the integrated puppet level and you can ship them over. Another option is to simply lend/lease the equipment to DEI from early on. Note that if you later Continue the War in Batavia or annex DEI I have found that there seems to be an issue where the game does not refill these colonial divisions' manpower anymore and you also cannot change them to a default template (they disappear). You have to drop them in Java and manually move them over. You can modify the template too if you have the army experience. You can then train using that template (their manpower, your equipment). Go to the division designer and click the little flag drop down menu, then select Dutch East Indies and copy their template.
What is your goal with removing it? If you are trying to hold the line in Europe another option is to create colonial divisions from DEI using their manpower and ship them over. Haven't tried to see if starting an offensive war will, though that takes more doing. Being in a defensive war removes it instantly.
